Kaiser Permanente Medical Care Program (Los Angeles, CA)

PHPG consultants have provided technical assistance to Kaiser Permanente on a variety of strategic and operational projects. Activities undertaken on behalf of this two million+ member HMO have included:

• Assisting the Southern California region in integrating capital, facilities, marketing, and operational planning functions

• Conducting an extensive review of the mental health services delivery system and benefit package to identify potential weaknesses and recommend changes with respect to benefit redesign and system capacity modifications

• Assisting in the development of a successful demonstration proposal to Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for a capitated managed care program for persons with End State Renal Disease (ESRD)
