Sierra Health Services (Las Vegas, NV)

The Pacific Health Policy Group (PHPG) has provided consulting services and technical assistance to Sierra Health Services and its subsidiary - Health Plan of Nevada (HPN), the largest HMO in the state, since the mid-1990s. PHPG assisted HPN in the development of its Medicaid Managed Care product, including specialized member services and support programs for the Title XIX population.

PHPG also assisted Sierra Health Services in the preparation of its successful proposal to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for a Medicare capitated disease management program that is being implemented in CY2004.  

PHPG also assisted Sierra with the preparation of its applications to CMS for participation in the Medicare Discount Drug Card program for both its Senior Dimensions' Medicare members in Nevada (exclusive product), and a non-exclusive product for other Medicare beneficiaries in multiple states.
